Goldilocks and BIM – Picking the right porridge for you
Rudd van Deventer has had a long and varied career as an architect, working for himself, other architectural practices and a large corporate. Rudd is a long-term member of SAFMA and providing services to Facilities Managers for their buildings.
In 1996, Rudd started SpaceWorx to focus on how buildings are used and strategic facility planning. SpaceWorx’s many projects overlapped with Architecture, Facilities Management and building refurbishments.
Rudd has also been working with the BIMcommUNITY.Africa and the SAIA Practice committee in advocating the use of BIM for professionals and we were successful getting ISO 19650 accepted as a South African National Standard.
